THREAT AGAINST OIL & GAS INSTALLATIONS

Description: The Niger Delta militant group Coalition of Niger Delta Militants has issued a statement that they will resume attacks on oil installations in the region.
This statement was issued 24 hours after the statement by the Niger Delta Avengers that the ceasefire in place would come to an end.
The threat from the Coalition of the Niger Delta Militants stated that they would “do everything possible to cripple all the (oil) installations” and “shut down the offices of each of the oil companies”.
They stated that this renewal of violence is in retaliation for the Nigerian military exercise Operation Crocodile Smile in the Niger Delta area.
