Description: A tanker sailing offshore Nigeria from Port Harcourt to Lagos was approached by two speed boats.
The embarked Nigerian Navy guards fired warning shots and the speed boats fled. MDAT-GoG has reported that vessel and crew are safe.
The threat to vessels offshore Nigeria remains as pirates may look to attempt another attack on a vessel in the area.
