Description: ARC has received a report of a possible pirate attack on a gas tanker deep offshore. Vessel looks to have been making good speed at 17kts but from AIS looks to have made
evasive manoeuvres.

 

UPDATE: This event has now been confirmed as a false alarm, with no attack or security incident taking place.
