Location: 30nm S of Bonny Fairway Buoy, Nigeria

Description: A container ship transiting to Onne was attacked by a speed boat 30nm due south of Bonny Fairway Buoy / 11nm south of Okwori Terminal. The pirates boarded the vessel and six crew members were
kidnapped – the Master, Chief Mate, 2nd Officer, 2nd Engineer, Bosun and Cook.
This is likely the same pirate group that attacked a vessel on the evening of the 20th October 2017 25nm SW of Bonny Fairway Buoy. The pirates craft is described as black hull, 2 outboard engines
and 8 armed men onboard.
