Description: Crude oil tanker transiting to Yoho terminal was approached by a black-hulled speed boat with seven men onboard. Two shots were fired at the merchant vessel and the pirates attempted to board.
The security boat dedicated to the tanker approached the pirate vessel, causing them to escape towards the south.
Tanker continued to destination and crew and vessel confirmed as safe.
