Description: A bulk carrier on route from Lagos to Gabon has been reported as under attack.

 

UPDATE: Bulk carrier carried out best management anti-piracy manoeuvres and a security vessel from the nearby Agbami terminal came to assist. The pirates aborted the attack and
left the area. Crew and vessel safe and under escort.

 

Pirates are still in the area. All vessels should be extra vigilant.
