Description: A tanker underway was approached by two small craft. Embarked armed Nigerian Navy guards were alerted and fired a warning shot at the closest boat. The boat stopped whilst the second boat remained
at a further distance.
No weapons were seen on the small boats, but ladders were seen. Neither boat had lights.
Vessel and crew are confirmed as safe.
