3. Peninsula fixes biofuel deal for K Line. Peninsula, the leading global independent marine energy supplier, has fixed its first Biofuel deal for Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha (“K” Line), one of the largest Japanese marine transportation companies. Peninsula’s Bunker Trading team arranged the delivery of 700 tons of UCOME-based B24 marine biofuel to the “K” Line oceangoing bulk carrier, “M/V Cape Amal”, through local physical supplier, Chimbusco Pan Nation (CPN). China, which has surpassed Japan as the world’s leading LNG importer, has laid out massive plans for further import terminal construction.
