1. The Petroleum Safety Authority issued an order to Transocean Services

2. The Italian Sea Group was awarded Perini Navi for 80 million Euros

5. Euroseas extends pair of feeder boxship charters

Nasdaq-listed Greek boxship owner Euroseas has sealed new charter extension for two of its 16 boxships. 2001-built 2,556 teu Evridiki G has entered into a new time charter contract with its current charterer, Maersk Sealand according to VesselsValue data, for a period of between a minimum of 36 and 38 months at a daily rate of $40,000. 6. Pavilion Energy wins Chinese LNG supply contract

Singapore’s Pavilion Energy and Zhejiang Hangjiaxin Clean Energy have signed a term deal for the supply of small-scale LNG from Singapore. Under the agreement, up to 0.5m tonnes per year of LNG which will be delivered to Hangjiaxin from 2023. 7. Carnival Says Most Ship Itineraries Unchanged Amid Omicron

Carnival Corp said on Tuesday a majority of its ships’ itineraries were unchanged despite a surge in cases of the Omicron coronavirus variant, which has threatened to stall a recovery in the cruise industry.

8. Inmarsat Launches ‘World’s Most Sophisticated Communications Satellite’

Global satellite communications company Inmarsat has launched its first next-generation satellite, known as the I-6. Billed as the most sophisticated commercial communications satellite ever launched, the I-6 F1 is the first of seven new fully-funded Inmarsat satellites to be launched by 2024.
