Description: UKMTO has reported a “non-piracy incident” offshore Al Duqm port, offshore Oman. Minimal information at the moment, however some vessels in the vicinity have increased speed
away from the incident area.

UPDATE 1: Owners of the tanker vessel have confirmed that 2 persons onboard have been killed. Vessel is now sailing under her own power escort by a US Navy vessel. Information is still scarce,
however considering that tanker is Israeli-owned it is likely the latest incident in the ongoing Iran/Israeli conflict involving merchant ships in the region.

ARC will update when further information is released.
