Med Marine celebrates another successful delivery Med Marine, a leader shipbuilding company, takes pride in delivering the state-of-the-art MED-A2575 RAmparts 2500-W Series Tug to Boluda Towage.Renamed as VB LUSITANIA, this impressive vessel, a RAmparts 2500-W Series Harbour Tug designed by Robert Allan Ltd, is the result of a sales contract signed between Med Marine and Spain’s Boluda Towage during the summer of 2023.
4. Chemship blazes the trail with wind propelled chemical tanker Chemship commissioned its first ship with wind assisted ship propulsion. This makes the MT Chemical Challenger the first chemical tanker in the world to be equipped with sustainable wind technology. The ship will serve on shipping company Chemship’s Trans-Atlantic route between the East Coast of the United States and the Mediterranean.

Boskalis snaps up Altera’s ALP Maritime Services Dutch-based Boskalis has acquired Altera Infrastructure’s anchor-handling and towage unit, ALP Maritime Services.The deal, approved by the Brazilian Administrative Council for Economic Defence (CADE), will see the HAL Investments Group-controlled dredging and offshore contractor bolster its capabilities in towing ships, maritime structures, and FPSO units.
