3. Cyprus Cabinet approves Marina and Cruise ship pier project In Pafos

A residential and commercial development, which will include a hotel, a marina and a pier for luxurious cruise ships, was approved on Wednesday by the Council of Ministers, as announced by Deputy Tourism Minister, Savvas Perdios. 4. Russia to increase LPG exports by a third in Feb, traders say

Russia plans to boost exports of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in February to benefit from better profitability than in its domestic market, traders said on Wednesday.LPG exports in February are targeted at 753,500 tonnes, up by a third from January, the traders said. 7. A chance to ‘restore serenity’: CMB makes its case to replace the Euronav board

8. Loadings Of Turkish BTC Pipeline Oil Could Begin Within Days

Turkey’s Ceyhan port could resume loading oil from the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline in one or two days using “manual” procedures, a Turkish official and a shipping source said on Saturday. 9. Canada Says It Won’t Permit Sea Floor Mining

Canadian officials on Thursday said they would not allow mining in its domestic ocean seabeds, citing a lack of legal authority as well as the federal government’s environmental commitments to protect marine areas. 10. Baltic index falls as capesize losses offset panamax gains

The Baltic Exchange’s main sea freight index, tracking rates for ships carrying dry bulk commodities, fell on Thursday, as gains in the panamax segment were countered by a decline in capesize rates.
