3. Cyprus ship management revenue rises to 4.2% GDP
Cyprus ship management revenues increased to €516 mln during the second half of 2021, or 4.2% of GDP (as turnover), marking a steady recovery from the pandemic and associated decline in economic activity, according to a Central Bank survey.

In November American Merchant Marine officer Madeleine Wolczko left her island home and took a Washington State Ferry to Seattle then caught a flight south to Oakland, California where she began looking for a ship. 8. Japan’s Coast Guard Intensifies Search For Missing Tour Boat
Ten people found so far from a Japanese tour boat missing off the country’s northern coast have been confirmed dead, the coast guard said on Sunday.

9. New US sanctions against Russia to include port ban
President Biden’s move follows that of European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen who announced a port ban on Russian vessels citing ’atrocities’ of Russian war in Ukraine.

10. Egypt’s Suez Canal Economic Zone Signs Deals For Green Energy
