V.Ships’ President Roberto Giorgi showed that he is as good on a fast sloping golf green as he is tackling at shipmanagement when he teamed up with InterManager PR man Sean Moloney to resoundly beat InterManager’s new IMO representative Paddy McKnight and BIMCO number two Torben Skaanild in the final day of the V.Ships golf tournament in Qatar.
Former InterManager President Roberto and Sean took €20 off the luckless duo at Qatar’s highly acclaimed Doha Golf Course – home of the European PGA-endorsed Qatar Masters – and showed that golf is as much about keeping your head down as it is about brinkmanship.
A rematch has been talked about.
