The Philippine Center for Advanced Maritime Simulation and Training, Inc. (PHILCAMSAT), recognized as the Philippines’ premiere center for maritime capability excellence, provides theoretical and quality hands-on experience that equips Global Maritime Professionals with the right values, attitudes, proper knowledge, continually update skills, leadership capability and most importantly, safety consciousness. PHILCAMSAT is proud to have earned independent third-party accreditations and partnerships from distinguished local and international maritime bodies, companies and industries attesting to the Center’s global competence mainly as the only institution in Asia certified by the Belgian Maritime Inspectorate and the UKMNTB, thus setting a global standard for training in the Philippines. The Center's faculty is comprised of seasoned and active seagoing ship officers who bring with them their expertise and knowledge on the latest in ship technology, practices, and regulations. Having invested heavily in faculty training and development, the Center utilizes the most modern equipment to provide world-class training amid an authentic learning climate. In 2019, more than 21,000 Global Maritime Professionals were trained for STCW, In-House and Company Specific courses. Philcamsat covers courses in more than 19 fields.
