Conference overview
The Interferry conference is the longest running shipping conference devoted to the ferry industry. Sessions will cover financial and economic trends, alternative fuels (with a focus on LNG), technology (both IT and communications), ship design innovations, regulations and opportunities in developing countries. Highlighting the speaker line-up will be Andreas Chrysostomou, Chairman of Marine Environment Protection Committee of IMO; Bud Darr of the Cruise Lines International Association speaking on the Costa Concordia accident; Arnauld Filancia of Wartsila providing a view of the next 30 years using scenario analysis; and Jan Olsson of Deutsche Bank providing his views on the Euro crisis.
The host organization, Roads & Transport Authority of Dubai, is providing a 50% discount on the delegate registration fee for the first 250 delegates. There are 50 places remaining. In addition Emirates Airlines is offering a 10% discount on flights to Dubai and room rates at the 5-star Grand Hyatt start at $200.
