Description: A cargo vessel was attacked by 2 speed boats with 5 armed men on one boat, 7 armed men on the other. Armed men were shooting in the air.
Update 1: At 0854 local time, vessel AIS turned back on and vessel is now proceeding towards Ghanaian waters. No further information on actual events from initial report to this morning.
Update 2: It has been confirmed that 10 crew members have been kidnapped from the vessel whilst sailing from Douala, Cameroon to Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire. Vessel now at Tema Anchorage, Ghana.
