Description: IMB and MDAT-GoG reported that a merchant vessel was boarded by several persons and that some crew members have been reported missing. Local authorities
have been notified and are responding
Update: It has been confirmed that 2 officers were kidnapped from 1 cargo vessel. It is possible (but not yet confirmed) that others were also kidnapped from the other cargo vessel.
Perpetrators boarded with AK47-style weapons. A Cameroon Navy vessel has reached the vessels and is investigating.
