Description: MDAT-GoG and another source have reported that a vessel was boarded by pirates approx. 75nm south of Lagos. Nigerian Navy have been informed. It is possible
that this ship was attacked by same group who attacked the tanker off Cotonou earlier on same day whilst on way back to Niger Delta.
Update: MDAT-GoG have confirmed that all crew onboard the vessel are reported as safe. From tracking systems, a Nigerian Navy vessel is on route to the merchant vessel now.
