Location: Forcados Terminal, Nigeria
Description: Shell have declared force majeure on exports from Forcados due to shutdown of the Trans Forcados pipeline. Force majeure took effect from 1000hrs, 14 January 2021. Original
reason for the shut down was for maintenance services, however according to Heritage “community disturbances” had delayed the works.
UPDATE: Shell has lifted the force majeure on Forcados exports on Wednesday 20 January 2021.
