Description: MDAT-GoG have reported that a vessel was attacked north-west of Sao Tome. It is possibly a bulk carrier or container vessel. The vessel performed evasive
manoeuvres, and all reported as safe by MDAT-GoG.
UPDATE: it has been confirmed that the vessel attacked was an LNG tanker on route to Bonny. The pirates shot at the vessel and the vessel increased her speed to 20kts. The attack
failed and the vessel continued to Bonny.
