Description: MDAT-GoG have reported that a vessel is under attack 30nm SSE of Lomé, Togo.
Update: Tanker vessel was attacked and boarded by pirates whilst on route to Lomé. Alarm was raised and crew members mustered in citadel. However, 4 crew members not accounted for. Togo Navy patrol vessel
arrived on scene at around 2300hrs and made contact with crew in citadel. Vessel remained in position until daybreak when it was confirmed that pirates were no longer on board at 0700hrs. Vessel sailed to Lomé under Togo Navy escort. Vesssel confirmed as safe
however no confirmed on possible kidnapping of 4 crew members.
