Description: An LPG tanker sailing from Bonny to Lagos is suspected of coming under attack from pirates. Vessel is drifting offshore Bonny and crew are not responding
to VHF calls. Nigerian Navy have been informed.

 

Update 1: The Nigerian Navy have boarded the vessel and are establishing contact with the crew. No pirates found on vessel.

 

Update 2: It has been confirmed that all crew are safe.

 

Update 3: Following confirmation that only 22 crew members were confirmed out of citadel, crew and Nigerian Navy conducted a search on board. It is now confirmed that one crew member has been kidnapped.
