Description: MDAT-GoG have reported from a CSO that a vessel is under attack and boarded. Vessel was sailing eastwards in the north east of Sao Tome waters, approx. 150nm from the Nigerian
coast.

Update 1: According to one report, 8 pirates boarded the vessel and crew mustered in the citadel.

UPDATE 2: MDAT-GoG have confirmed that all crew are safe and pirates have left the vessel. Vessel is now at Malabo.

As this attack was unsuccessful, the threat in the area remains to all vessels, as pirates will likely remain in the area and attempt to board another vessel for the purpose of kidnapping.
