Description: MDAT-GoG reported that a vessel was boarded in Eq Guinea’s waters, approximately 48nm WSW of Luba. The vessel was on route from Cameroon to Benin. According to MDAT-GoG, incident is over.
Update 1: A Danish Navy vessel is attending to the containership and providing medical assistance, with 1 crew member reportedly injured.
All vessels in the area should increase vigilance, as pirates may attempt to attack another vessel whilst on way back to Niger Delta.
