Description: Robbers boarded a berthed offshore supply vessel at Onne port, undetected by the crew. The port security service saw the canoe and alerted the Nigerian Navy. As the Navy patrol boat
approached the area, the robbers escaped on the canoe and then jumped into the water and swam to the bank. Later, the canoe was found abandoned with tins of paint on board.
