Description: Vessel had been at anchorage for less than 24 hours when duty crew on deck spotted someone removing lashing from a container. Alarm was raised onboard and
the crew mustered. Attempts to contact law enforcement via VHF Ch 16 on the shore were ignored. The alarm led to the person fleeing in a small boat. A vessel search was carried out and nothing found to be stolen, although a container had had the lashing bar
removed. Vessel has since moved All reported as safe. Vessel has now moved up to Boma anchorage.
