Description: A vessel named HAWA III is suspected of carrying pirates. Vessel is currently moored at Libreville, Gabon, since morning time, 15 June 2020 after sailing across from Lomé,
Togo. Name on AIS is HAWA III, however registered as SAGA LEJON. Ships in the area are warned to remain clear of the vessel and remain vigilant in case of attack.
Analysis: The vessel is a ferry that has sailed between Libreville, Lomé, and Calabar over the last few months. The report did not state if vessel had been sighted in any recent incident reports, however based on its tracking, it has been
sailing through high risk areas.
