Description: Supply vessel was en-route to Abidjan when she spotted a suspicious vessel about 0.6nm behind her. Requesting assistance via VHF, the Captain increased her speed to 10kts, switched
off her AIS and navigation lights before changing her heading. The poor weather helped the deception manoeuvre. After 2 hours and the rain ended, the suspect vessel was no longer visible. Supply vessel reset her course again to continue to Abidjan and all
crew and vessel safe.
