Description: A vessel was approached by a skiff at the edge of the Nigerian EEZ. The tanker had just completed the escort with her security vessel when she was approached by a skiff with
about 6 persons on board. The crew mustered in the citadel, blew her whistle and continued at maximum speed out of the area. All safe.
The threat to vessels remains very high in the area.
