Description: A vessel sailing westwards towards IRTC noticed 3 vessels moving very fast. 2 skiffs were seen on both port and starboard side with single red lights whilst another larger
vessel was on starboard side. The skiff on starboard side moved closer to the larger vessel whilst the portside skiff approached the vessel up to 1.6nm. Master informed UKMTO. Attempts to contact the larger vessel via VHF were unsuccessful, however Master
did inform another nearby merchant vessel of the suspicious activity. After 30 minutes, vessel had left the skiffs behind.

ARC will update if any further information is received.
