Description: A fishing vessel sailing offshore Ghana was approached and chased by a speed boat with 8-10 men onboard. She carried out evasive manoeuvres by turning suddenly to starboard
and turned away from the area, increasing her speed to 12kts.

This incident took place in the same area as the approach on a tanker on 22 September 2020. Vessels should avoid this area, as well as remaining vigilant in all the areas up to 150nm
off the coast in case the pirates move back towards Nigeria.
