Description: MDAT-GoG have reported that a vessel sailing over 100nm offshore Benin was approach by a skiff with armed persons onboard. The Benin Navy guards reportedly fired warning
shots whilst the crew moved to the citadel. After 10 minutes the skiff departed.
It is likely that the pirates are still in the area. All vessels transiting with 100nm of this location should exercise extreme vigilance.
