Description: ARC has received a report of a “pirate action group” skiff in the waters between Cameroon and Nigeria. Details of the skiff are not yet available.
Last incident in this area was in May 2020. Since then, this area has been quite quiet however it is a major smuggling route between Nigeria and Cameroon, especially of fuel from Nigeria
to Cameroon, so there is regular criminal activity in the area.
