Description: A group calling themselves the
Niger Delta Expendable Group has issued a 14-day ultimatum to Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) to leave the E.A. Field in OML 79. The warning was issued in a letter signed by the group’s spokesperson, a General Torunanawei (aka Turubebe-Ike).
The group boasted that it “controls the riverine in the whole Niger Delta” in the region, and that the group is “tired of…unwanted practices in the riverine especially the “Sea eagle” the E.A. field”.
