Location: Lagos State, Nigeria

 

Description: The Lagos State Governord Babaji Sanwo-Olu has declared a 24-hour curfew will be imposed in Lagos State from 1600hrs, 20 October 2020.

 

The only exceptions to the curfew are ā€œessential service providers and first respondersā€ according the tweet in which the governor declared the curfew.

 

The curfew has been imposed following recent violent confrontations surrounding the EndSARS protests.

 

Analysis: This curfew may have a direct effect on shipping operations at terminals in Lagos, which may cause delays to cargo operations and ship departures.
