Location: Lagos State, Nigeria

 

Description: The Lagos State Governord Babaji Sanwo-Olu has declared a 24-hour curfew will be imposed in Lagos State from 1600hrs, 20 October 2020.

 

The only exceptions to the curfew are “essential service providers and first responders” according the tweet in which the governor declared the curfew.

 

The curfew has been imposed following recent violent confrontations surrounding the EndSARS protests.

 

Analysis: This curfew may have a direct effect on shipping operations at terminals in Lagos, which may cause delays to cargo operations and ship departures.
