Description: ARC has received two reports that there has been an attack on a vessel north west of Sao Tome island. One report has stated that some crew members have been kidnapped however this has not been confirmed.
UPDATE: 14 crew members are confirmed to have been kidnapped and 1 crew member was injured during the attack. The vessel is under escort by an Italian Navy vessel to next port of call, likely Sao Tome. 2 other European Navy vessels
are in the area as well. The injured crew member is under care on the Italian Navy vessel.
