Description: 6 crew members have been kidnapped following an attack on 4 fishing vessels in Cameroonian territorial waters at night. It is likely that this was carried out by Nigerian-based pirates,
rather than based in Cameroon, due to recent incidents south of Akwa Ibom and sightings of suspicious skiffs with armed men onboard going towards the sea through the creeks and rivers of Akwa Ibom state.

ARC will update if more information is received.
