Description: Fishing vessel was attacked in Benin EEZ about 60nm SSE of Cotonou EEZ. Vessel was sailing southwards when it was attacked, causing it to slow down to until almost stationary. The pirates boarded and kidnapped 6 crew – 5 Korean
and 1 Ghanaian. Vessel is still sailing south.

 

It is possible that the pirates are still in the area, so all vessels nearby should be extremely vigilant.
