Event: Industrial Action – ExxonMobil Lagos HQ Shut down

Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Description: ExxonMobil workers have shut down the company’s Lagos headquarters protesting against the sacking of 860 security personnel, most of them former Nigerian policemen. Protesters, who
have the support of the employees union PENGASSAN, have demanded that the company reinstate the sacked security personnel and the repatriation from Nigeria of the expatriate security personnel who have replaced them.
