Description: Fishing vessel sailing offshore Cameroon between Douala and Limbe was attacked by pirates on a speed boat. The BIR (Battalion Intervention Rapide) personnel onboard fired
back at the pirate boat. 1 BIR soldier was wounded, and several pirates were reported as wounded as well. Pirates did not board the vessel and then sailed into port.
