Description: An explosion and fire gutted the Petroleum Apapa Wharf Jetty in Lagos. Fuel thieves were scooping up fuel as a tanker discharged Premium Motor Spirit, and the manifold caught fire. The fire lasted
1 hour and 4 people were killed; the vessel was not affected.


There is no expected impact on motor fuel supply in Nigeria.
