Description: Local media has reported that criminals have stolen 16 “engine boats” (i.e. canoes/skiffs with outboard engines) from fishermen in Andoni community in Rivers State, Nigeria.
No one was reported as injured or killed. It is likely the boats will be used in attacks on local vessels in the area and against merchant shipping offshore.
