Russian forces launched an unmanned aerial vehicle attack on the port of Izmail, Russia. As a result of the strikes, fires broke out within the port, causing damage to administrative buildings and warehouses, with at least eight explosions reported. Still imagery of the aftermath showed multiple buildings and structures ablaze. NASA FIRMS data also confirmed a thermal anomaly within the port limits. At the time of writing, no damage to merchant vessels or casualties had been reported. Emergency services were deployed to the scene and subsequently contained and extinguished the fires, with an evaluation of the damage ongoing.<br/>ADVICE: Vessels conducting Black Sea port calls are advised to conduct comprehensive dynamic voyage threat assessments. The crew is advised to remain within the designated Safe Muster Point (SMP) during missile attacks on infrastructure. The SMP should be located above the waterline, amidships, and low-down in the superstructure.
