4. First charging station for electric trucks in the Port of Hamburg. E.ON has opened four charging stations on the grounds of the Hamburg Port Authority, directly on the A7 motorway. This is E.ON’s first dedicated charging site in Germany specifically for electric trucks. Each charging bay is equipped with its own 400-kilowatt station, allowing trucks to recharge during the 45-minute break required by law. Depending on the model, this provides enough energy for around 300 kilometres of driving.

7. Denmark bans 27 Russian-linked ships from calling at its ports. Danish authorities have banned 27 Russian-linked ships from calling at local ports or anchorages.
8. Lidl’s shipping line adds rail component. Tailwind Shipping Lines, the containerline created by German supermarket chain Lidl, has added a rail component to its business.
The new rail service operates between the Slovenian port of Koper and the freight terminal in the Austrian city of Graz. The new Panther Shuttle will offer freight forwarders and shipping companies five direct weekly connections in each direction.
