6. Maersk Supply Service wins Petrobras contract for AHTS trio
Maersk Supply Service has landed a three-year contract with Petrobras for a trio of anchor handling tug supply ships (AHTS). 7. Philippine tanker spill widens
The Philippines is bracing for one of its worst oil spills in recent years as beaches and protected areas become covered in black sludge following the sinking last week of the product tanker Princess Empress.
The ship, carrying 800,000 litres of fuel oil, lost engine power in rough seas and sank off the island of Mindoro on February 28.

9. Without Government Support, UK’s Offshore Wind Push at Risk from Soaring Costs
Orsted A/S, the world’s largest developer of offshore wind farms, said its biggest project in the UK is at risk of being scrapped without government support to help manage soaring costs. Britain’s renewable power industry has for months lobbied for measures to ease the burden of spiraling equipment prices and high financing costs as interest rates rise. 10. Russian oil product exports slide as EU import embargo bites
Russian oil product exports, the target of the West’s latest round of efforts to curb Moscow’s oil revenues, fell by a fifth on the month in February to the lowest since May 2022 as new buyers in Africa failed to absorb Russian fuels displaced from Europe, according to tanker tracking data.
