8. Enetiā€™s Seajacks wins new wind vessel contract

New York-listed offshore wind vessel player Eneti has announced a new contract award for its subsidiary Seajacks in Northwest Europe. The contract has been secured for one of the NG2500-class self-propelled jackups. 9. Russian Ship Caught Mapping North Sea Wind Farm

Russia has in recent months tried to gain intelligence to sabotage critical infrastructure in the Dutch part of the North Sea, Dutch military intelligence agency MIVD said on Monday. A Russian ship has been detected at an offshore wind farm in the North Sea as it tried to map out energy infrastructure, MIVD head General Jan Swillens said at a news conference. 10. Cargo Ship Breaks in Half at Russian Anchorage

One person has reportedly died after a cargo ship broke in half at the at a Russian anchorage in the Black Sea. Reporting indicates the Comoros-flagged Seamark had about 3,000 tons of marble chips in its holds when it broke in two at the Novorossiyak anchorage in Southern Russia.
