BSM’s first in-house Cadet Foundation Course has successfully finished in August this year. It took place in the Maritime Training Centre (MTC) in Kochi, India. BSM congratulated 23 Indian Cadets including 17 Electro-Technical Officers, 3 Deck and 3 Engine Cadets for participating in the course during 12 weeks. The course included Navigation and Engine simulator training coupled with hands-on training in marine engineering equipment, marine electronics, seamanship, shipboard maintenance, slinging and lifting, rope handling, power tools, lathe, and welding.
