1. Climate change could bring back wind as the future power source for ocean cargo ships

International trade is still heavily reliant on oceangoing vessels and the noxious bunker fuel that feeds most ships’ massive diesel engines.

To this point, critics say the shipping industry has made only lackluster efforts to go green, but there is a new push to cut back on carbon-emitting fuels and shift to things like liquid hydrogen or ammonia, and many cutting-edge designs using the oldest power source: wind.

6. Equinor, Shell and TotalEnergies ink first cross-border CO2 shipping and storage deal with Yara

Northern Lights, a joint venture between energy giants Equinor, Shell and TotalEnergies, has struck a deal to ship and store carbon dioxide (CO2) from Yara’s ammonia and fertilizer plant in the Netherlands. 7. Grain Is Gushing Out Of The Great Lakes This Year

8. Denmark And Germany Agree To Offshore Wind Link

Germany has secured a power link to a planned offshore wind hub in the Danish part of the Baltic Sea that will help reduce energy dependence on Russia, Denmark’s energy ministry said on Monday. 9. TotalEnergies sells 49% interest in Russian gas field to Novatek

10. Board of Trade Meet to deliberate on boosting Exports and New FTP soon

Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Shri Piyush Goyal is likely to chair a meeting of the Board of Trade scheduled for next month an official said recently.

The meeting will be conducted with an agenda to discuss ways to boost India’s exports. The Board of Trade is an advisory body on foreign trade policy headed by a Union Minister.

The board also included representatives from States, Union Territories and important officials from the public and private sectors.
