1. Wallem Group selects ARI cloud-based Simulators to provide training for its crew

7. Navy to Scrap USS Bonhomme Richard After Fire
The U.S. Navy has decided to scrap the amphibious landing dock USS Bonhomme Richard due to extensive damage from last July’s fire at Naval Base San Diego. 8. Rescue Underway for Vendée Globe Skipper Who Abandoned Ship
A rescue is underway for a Vendée Globe skipper who activated his emergency beacon some 840 nautical miles southwest of Cape Town. 9. Grapevine: Vedanta, DP World Eye Shipping Corp; Shapoorji-ADIA Deal On Hold
Vedanta and Dubai’s DP World have shown interest in acquiring a stake in Shipping Corporation of India (SCI), The Economic Times said citing people familiar with the matter. 10. Baltic Index Posts Second Monthly Fall As Lower Capesize Rates Weigh
The Baltic Exchange’s main sea freight index edged lower on Monday, marking its second straight month of declines, as rates fell for the capesize vessel segment. The Baltic dry index, which tracks rates for capesize, panamax and supramax vessels, was down by 3 points, or 0.2%, at 1,227, snapping a nine-session rally.
